Eight Stages, One Unbroken Record
Each stage produces evidence that is linked to the stage before it. This is what you see for your lots in the live dashboard.
Stage 01Harvest
Gum is hand-harvested by registered, trained collectors from naturally regenerating Acacia senegal var. kerensis stands across our ASAL sourcing counties.

Stage 02Digital Capture at Source
Every delivery is weighed on calibrated scales and captured on mobile devices at the collection point — with GPS location, timestamp and a unique receipt number.

Stage 03Bulking & Field Sorting
At the bulking centre, gum is cleaned, sorted and graded. Each consignment is verified against its collection records before it is released for dispatch.

Stage 04Chain-of-Custody Transit
Consignments travel under a numbered waybill. Weight and bag counts are recorded at dispatch, and the gum stays visible as “in transit” until it is received.

Stage 05Receiving & Dual Sign-off
At our Athi River facility, Supply Chain confirms weight and condition against the waybill, then Quality Assurance independently approves the grade. Both sign-offs are required.

Stage 06Processing
Approved raw material is issued to production and consumed first-in, first-out. Every finished batch is linked back to the exact goods-in records it was made from.

Stage 07Laboratory Release
Each batch is tested against the agreed customer specification before release. A Certificate of Analysis is issued and linked to the batch record.

Stage 08Export
Released batches are palletised and loaded into containers for shipment via Mombasa. The container and shipping documents close the chain back to the field.

Segregation of duties
