Our Story

Built by People Who Care

Acacia EPZ was founded with a simple but powerful belief: that sustainable business can be a force for transformative social impact. Our team brings together expertise in agribusiness, community development, food science, and environmental conservation.

From our Athi River processing facility to field operations across nine ASAL counties — Turkana, Baringo, Samburu, Isiolo, Marsabit, Wajir, Garissa, Tana River, and Kitui — every team member shares the commitment to fair trade, community empowerment, and environmental stewardship.

Our Values

What Drives Us

These core values guide every decision we make and every relationship we build.

01

Community First

We exist to empower the communities we work with. Their success is our success — proven through our Revolving Fund and Dukawala model.

02

Integrity

Transparent, fair dealings with collectors, partners, and customers. Every kilo weighed honestly, every payment made on time.

03

Innovation

Constantly finding better ways to create value — from belt-based sourcing to reverse logistics to briquette production.

04

Sustainability

Environmental stewardship is embedded in everything we do. Protecting 12 million acacia trees for future generations.
